How Perkatory works:

  • Each Perkatory session we will invite writers that have been featured throughout the month on a specific topic to read their writing out loud to the community
  • We will then invite an organization to come and present briefly about who they are and what they do so people attending can learn more about other awesome organizations
  • We will then open it up to Q&A and a discussion on the topic of the month and the writers stories

The goal of Perkatory is:

  • To encourage individuals to use their voice
  • Learn more about a specific topic that might be difficult for some cancer patients to bring up themselves
  • Bring each other out of “perkatory” to help live your best life
