Dear Breast Cancer,

Thank you.

 

Thank you for helping me find myself.

Thank you for releasing toxicity in my life.

Thank you for restoring my smile.

Thank you for forcing me to set boundaries.

Thank you for illuminating my beauty.

 

Thank you for slowing my life down.

Thank you for igniting my healing journey.

Thank you for teaching me to ask for help.

Thank you for showering me with the love of my family.

Thank you for aligning my path with many new friends.

 

Thank you for giving me strength.

Thank you for deepening my faith.

Thank you for requiring me to be present at each moment.

Thank you for unraveling my emotions.

Thank you for highlighting my insecurities.

 

Thank you for transforming my complaints into gratitude.

Thank you for encouraging me to surrender and welcome change.

Thank you for guiding me to turn within.

Thank you for giving me space to be selfish.

Thank you for prioritizing my self-care, wellness, and pampering.

 

Thank you for melting my bitterness toward people who have hurt me.

Thank you for enlightening me to forgive myself.

Thank you for helping me to find my passions and purpose.

Thank you for shedding my mask of unhappiness.

Thank you for intuitive healing and for trusting my body to overcome you.

 

Thank you for repairing my relationships.

Thank you for increasing my patience.

Thank you for leading me back to meditation.

Thank you for grounding me in nature, being guided by the sun.

Thank you for waking me up and shifting me out of stagnation.

 

Thank you for nourishing my joy.

Thank you for bringing kindness into my life.

Thank you for giving me fresh eyes to view life.

Thank you for giving me a story to tell.

Thank you for breaking me down, rebuilding me with peace, love, and joy, and igniting me to live a life that makes me proud.

 

Breast cancer, I am my authentic self today because of you, so thank you.
